Our clients wanted to replace the small raised deck and wooden steps at the back of their house with stone steps and a larger patio. We installed solid Bluestone steps and created a smaller raised flagstone terrace. The walls are made of Blue River wallstone and incorporate a built in bench and 2 raised planter boxes. For the patio and paths we used Bluestone flagstone. The project also included replacing a rotten timber retaining wall along the alley with a Fond du lac wall, constructing a raised 2 tier Fond du lac planting bed as well as installing shurbs, perennials and a small rain garden.
